What can you expect?

  • Wildcats is the place to be, everyone is super awesome; from the friends you'll meet to The FA qualified coaches and volunteers who deliver the sessions.
  • Sessions focus on developing your child's fundamental movement skills - agility, balance coordination and speed - required not only for football but for all sports.
  • Giving it a go for the first time or wanting to play with other girls their own age, Wildcats is all about learning new skills, making amazing friends and having loads of fun.

Notes from the coach

All girls are welcome to join us for our fun and friendly football sessions. Our aim is to give girls in the area the opportunity to play football in a supportive, inclusive, and enjoyable environment.

The sessions are led by UEFA‑licensed coaches who are passionate about helping every girl grow in confidence and ability.

For those who want to take the next step, we can also offer direct pathways into Southport FC Girls teams, providing the chance to play competitive football when they feel ready.
