Comets is a recreational, pan-disability football programme, focusing on playfulness and friendships, giving a fun and positive experience of football.
A warm welcome to you and your child to Riverhawks FC. We are a family club and want you to have an enjoyable experience with us.
Working with the FA and Essex FA on the Comets initiative for inclusion of pan-disability in football, Riverhawks FC's Comets programme will be initially offering 60 minute training session to children aged 5-11 who are neurodiverse.
The ethos of the programme is to allow children “Just be you”, using
football as a means of exercise, to help grow social interactions and also personal development.
Run by our FA qualified football coaches, we will work with you to try and cater for your child's specific needs.
